Finally, an announcement for something at SDCC that makes me ready to traverse the nerd-frenzy: A Misfortune Cat by Chris Ryniak! I know Ferg is a fan of collaboration, so it totally makes sense for him to team up with friends to tackle smaller versions of the doomed vinyl kitties.

The first 5-inch artist edition Misfortune Cat is based on Chris’ custom from the Reconstructing Misfortune show and matte and glossy black with a GID eye . 100 of these ferals will be let loose for $45 each as a Munky King exclusive at their SDCC booth. Many folks have been grumbling about applying the term “exclusive” to figures that end up at a distributor soon after making their debut: I’m no psychic, but I’m going to say that will NOT be the case with this Cat.
