White Rabbits and Resin Animal Rings by Haoshi Design Studio
It’s times like this that I wish I could wear ornamental jewelry. While I’m not quite there yet, if you are, you should totally check out these resin animal rings by Haoshi Design. They’re kind of like cute no-kill taxidermy with a Lewis Carroll-pop-surrealist edge.
Haoshi Design is named after the Chinese pronunciation of “good things”. Their handcast metal and resin rings are definitely “good things,” as is this delightful snippet of Engrish:
In our daily life, emotions are often affected by trifles easily, and it is easy to neglect some “good things” around us which can bring us joyfulness and satisfaction. So we add a kind of purity and peace into our design concept. By using concrete exquisite technical art to present the abstract life concept, designers’s life philosophy can present completely and perfectly through the visual art.
All the animal rings are currently 30% off at Fab.com. The sale includes cats, bucks, goats, rabbits, pigs, wolves, giraffes, sheep, tigers and polar bears for $58 each, plus the deluxe two-finger crocodile and hippo styles for $69.
Fact: a cat head is so much cooler than a diamond. And nothing says badass more than a half-brass-knuckle anointed with a crocodile. Get some here now because as with all Fab flash sales, the going’s only good for the next 72 hours!
Click through for some of Haoshi’s fun “dress” necklaces like “Flush Man” and “Stopcock,” as well as a new musical pairing.
Another fact: Even though I am not a hippie, I’ve always loved the song “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane. Would I like today’s female singers better if they wore more fringe and sang like they’d just had some kind of mushroom? I guess I’ll go ask Alice.
