Affordable Art by Emerging Artists: Benefits Arts for Hope in Japan
|To honor the one-year anniversary of the tragic earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Jeremy Brautman (age 35) and Super Cooper Berella (age 12) curated a kidcentric, collaborative art show at Kokoro Studio in San Francisco. The theme of EARTH MOVEMENT was nature’s powerful forces: sometimes awesome and sometimes devastating. Our show featured artwork by emerging solo artists, kids in collaboration with established artists (who happen to also be their parents, uncles, aunts and neighbors) and a few special friends. Check out our funtastic opening night reception with young artists present here.
We would now like to find homes for the remaining artwork, many of which are $100 or less framed! As an added purchasing incentive, the gallery and curators will no longer be taking a percentage of sales. (We would like to donate as much money as possible to our charity in Japan, Arts for Hope.) Depending on the individual artist’s preference, from here on out, your purchase will either be split 60% (charity) and 40% (artist) or 100% entirely to the charity. So please support artists and help earthquake victims heal through art therapy by collecting affordable art by the emerging artists of EARTH MOVEMENT!
