New Life-Size Benny the Dreamer Editions by Okedoki and TAG
Almost a year after Okedoki painted this big and beautiful Benny the Dreamer, LA’s Toy Art Gallery is releasing 5 limited edition life-size fiberglass figures.
Benny the Dreamer, who has his own tag archive, needs no introduction on these pages, but if you’re just tuning in…Quoth Okedoki:
“Benny the Dreamer is the epitome of joy and wisdom, a reminder for all of us to follow our dreams, and to listen to what is truly in our hearts. Benny embodies enlightenment and timeless wisdom. Sculpted while I was going through my cancer treatment, Benny is very important to me. Through our daily struggles, we have to see beyond the apparent physical state to our inherent connection to everyone and all things. I hope Benny the Dreamer will resonate with collectors and spread a message of joy and wonder.”

The life-size Benny figures stand 53 inches tall and weigh in at 50 pounds. TAG produced 25 pieces across 5 colorways designed by Okedoki to match her original sculpture. Priced between $2,160 and $2,400, each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Okedoki. They’re available here now.
