Hand-Painted Cody Vinyls by Jon Knox

I’ve said it before with Travis Louie’s hand-painted Stan Skelves and Yosiell Lorenzo’s hand-painted Poison Sweets: my favorite “customized toys,” are the one-off paint jobs from the hands of the same artist who created/designed the original character form. Today, Jon Knox joins this league of excellence with two hand-painted Cody customs. Priced at just $250 a piece, that’s an incredible deal for what is essentially an original sculpture.

Cody is one of the finalists in the “Fan Favorite” category of the Designer Toy Awards, so I can’t imagine these will last long. Take a look back at the making of the figure and its production colorways, and then pull the trigger!
