Self-Extinguishing Firebug by Hine Mizushima

Having last captured my heart with an Overly Literal Cat Valentine, Vancouver-based artist Hine Mizushima gives me a smile again with this whimsical Self-extinguishing Firebug. Mizushima needle-felted the creature and animated the gif using iPhone apps for a commission from Daily Portal Z in Japan. Speaking of daily, I could stare at this gif all day. And now you can too.
