Designer Tea Sets by Ron English, Jon Burgerman and Kozyndan

It’s awkward to say that This is a Limited Edition recently “dropped” Series Two of their artist designed Tea/Coffee Cup & Saucer sets, because dropping tea cups only brings to mind shattering tableware. That said, This is a Limited Edition IS about “shattering” stereotypes regarding art, product and, well, tea cups. Series 2 features the iconic Abraham Obama design by Ron English, a collection of characters by Jon Burgerman and a Kozyndan set sure to complement their recent Uprisings toy/book ends.

These are CHINA, but they’re not FROM CHINA. The bone china cup & saucers are made in Stoke-on-Trent, England, and only 250 sets will ever be produced. New for Series Two: not only are the cup and saucer full-sized for tea/coffee drinkers, but also each cup, saucer and art print is sequentially numbered.  Included inside the presentation box is also a certificate of authenticity with artist bio. The cup stands 60mm (2 1/2″) high and 87mm (3 1/2″) across, and the saucer is 160mm (6 1/4″) across. Each cup & saucer retails at £39. Each of the three cups features a little something extra: Jon and Kozyndan’s cups have a hidden character inside; Ron English’s cup is rimmed with platinum.
