Brendan Monroe and Mars-1 New Prints and Toys
|Comic-Con saw the release of fine artist Brendan Monroe‘s first vinyl toys since 2005’s Sours. Figment was an edition of 100 seated sofubi figures made by Grody Shogun in Japan and produced by DKE Toys.
In addition to his Figment signing at DKE, Monroe also did a signing with Cardboard Spaceship. The featured here was a new print collaboration with Mars-1. Jermaine Rogers even stopped by to say hi.
The Brendan Monroe and Mars-1 collaborative screenprint measures 28″ x 20″ and is available signed by both artists for $75 online here.
I’m not sure if the Figment figures sold out or will become available to distributors. Stay tuned for details, and click through for a look back at Monroe’s sculptures in wood and ceramic and a few more photos of him signing the Figments.
