Get Yourself Creaturized with Bespoke Sketch Portraits

The man behind Inspector Cumulus, wonderful Welsh illustrator Jonathan Edwards, is giving you the gift of you. Creaturized. By him. I’d better let him tell you. (Imagine the following in the voice of Sir Anthony Hopkins, I’m just guessing…)

An A5 “creaturized” portrait of yourself, a loved one or merely an acquaintance can now be yours! Following the success of doing “creaturized” portraits in Selfridges in London and the Sketch-o-matic at Cornerhouse in Manchester I’ve decided to offer them online for a trial period.

Please note that “A5” is Welsh for 8.3 x 5.8 inch. It says so right here in my Google translator.

These original portraits will be sketched in ink based on photographs you send in. (Once payment has been received, Edwards will send would-be-portrait-sitters his email address to get those photos.) The finished portrait will be sent out (from Wales) in 3 days.

Single portraits are £25  or ~$40 USD. Two portraits on one paper can also be requested on 8.3 x 5.8 inch paper for £40 (~$62 USD) or on 11.7 x 8.3 inch paper for £40 (~$71 USD). Naturally, my mind is extending this to the next organic level. Edwards is a frequent collaborator with his partner, the equally excellent, Felt Mistress. Perhaps after the sketch, you can commission a 3D stitch kitsch transformation??? How cool would THAT be?
