Frank Kozik’s Ludwig Van Bust in Porcelain

This is the porcelain you’ve been waiting for (if you’ve been waiting for a porcelain). K. Olin Tribu, who have been steadily releasing porcelain art objects by contemporary artists, is going for round two (see round one) with Frank Kozik. Their latest collaboration sees Kozik’s Ludwig Van bust (which premiered in 2008 in orange vinyl) realized in a truly bust-appropriate medium.

The busts measure 12.5 inches in height of white, unglazed Limoges porcelain with a single, signature black eyelash. K. Olin Tribu is releasing an edition of just 12 numbered pieces for €800 ( ~ $1,100 USD) + shipping on Friday, November 4th at 18:00 French time /1 PM EST / 10AM PST here.
