At 11AM PST today, Le Merde will release this 9-inch clear purple Hujili’s Ghost. The figure is a mashup of Gargamel‘s Hedoran Smog Monster and Le Merde’s severed-for-life character, Hujili’s Ghost. He features 5 points of articulation and comes with a button. Get him for $95 here.
But wait…there’s four more!
Scott Wilkowski‘s Halloween BUDCAT is the seasonal follow-up to one of my favorite SDCC ’10 toys. The clear orange resin figure is approximately 3.75″ tall, comes with a firecracker and jack-o-lantern and is limited to 70 pieces. BUDCAT comes out Halloween day, October 31st at 12PM CENTRAL for $65 here.
Travis Lampe‘s webshop says:
Be the envy of your neighbors this Halloween. Orange and Black streamers are so yesterday. All the cool people are hanging up cat prints…
Cat prints are pre-hip-storic; they’re so cool they’re not even trending yet. As an early adopter, I can only say: INVEST NOW. The 4-color silkscreen is a signed and numbered edition of 22 prints for $65 each here.
I’m digging all this stuff going on with toys bleeding into housewares. Super7 took four favorites from the Monster Family roster (Bwana Spoons’ Steven the Bat, Josh Herbolsheimer’s Rose Vampire, Itokin Park’s Garuru and Kathie and Brandt’s Big Sal) and made them into pint glasses. The set is available for $35 here.
I bet every artist on this list LOVES Halloween, and not that it’s a contest, but I bet Alex Pardee loves Halloween almost more than breathing. It’s only Friday morning, so I suspect ZEROFRIENDS has something special on its way for Halloween ’10. Until then, feast your eyes on these two print sets. Nine prints of monsters near and dear. Set #1 is $65 here. Set #2 is $65 here.
UPDATE! If I had held out a mere 30 minutes, I could have added this special Halloween collaboration between Alex Pardee and Craola. All the details about the Orange Lantern can be found on Alex’s blog here. Get the double-hand-signed, numbered and loved print for $85 here.
