New Twin Peaks Print by Godmachine

Black as Midnight, Twin Peaks Poster by Godmachine

Godmachine designed a great new print in tribute to Twin Peaks. Its title, “Black as Midnight,” refers to Special Agent Dale Cooper’s memorable Season 1 response to how he takes his coffee: “Black as midnight on a moonless night.” Same for Godmachine, who once told me he consumes between 4 and 10 cups of coffee a day. Here he is on the topic of the drip machine:

I like to call it ‘The First Four Black Sabbath Albums’ as there is nothing more metal, more black and more energizing for the soul. It keeps the coffee warm and reheats it at the push of a button, I can dig it. I hate microwaved coffee. While I’m here, ‘a coffee plunger’ or ‘French press’ is like calling a vacuum cleaner a ‘floor sucker-up’er’ or calling a gun ‘a bullet thrower’. It’s a cafetiere.

Ha! On occasion, the Wales-based artist takes his beard to the local Starbucks for hot coffee and hi-jinx, and things like this happen.

But back to “Black as Midnight”! The 2-color Twin Peaks print is a limited edition of 100 pieces on black stock. It measures 18″ x 24″ and comes signed and numbered for only £25. If you live in the US, it’s $~50 shipped. I know, because I bought one. And you should too. Available here.
