ART & TOYS: The Amazing Collection of Selim Varol [50+ PHOTOS]

ART & TOYS – The Collection of Selim Varol
Desk installation

Selim Varol‘s epic collection of art and toys [previously] opened this past weekend at the Me Collectors Room in Berlin. The exhibition includes a total of 3,000 works centered around toy art and street art by more than 200 artists and designers from over 20 countries. Above is Varol’s desk installation, which features Barry McGee bottles, Shepard Fairey and KAWS stickers, vinyl toys by Tokion and Gary Taxali and Be@rbricks in a Yoshitomo Nara ashtray.

Overview shots like this really give you an indication of the size of the collection and ambitiousness of the exhibition. Nice touch to have lots of seating available. ART & TOYS – The Collection of Selim Varol runs through September 16th, and I’m still hoping to get there somehow to see it in person!
