When Rotofugi debuted 64 Colors‘ new character, Gumdrop, at SDCC last year, between the full-spectrum name of the artists and the flavors of the candy, I had a hunch that initial GID Gumdrop would get some colorful brethren. Well, color me clairvoyant!
Gumdrop is back, and while there’s not quite 64 colors, there are 6: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and pink. The petite pup sports two facial expressions (happy and surprised), so if you’re a 64 Colors completist, you’re looking at collecting a total of 12 variants.
Kindly, these are not being sold blind-boxed, so you can make yourself a ROY-G-BIV rainbow or an entirely green army. I think these will look terrific in group formation. The Gumdrops will retail for $5.95 a piece at Rotofugi and through 64Colors directly starting Friday, March 23rd. Cute!
