Audrey Kawasaki made her first appearance at Comic-Con this year. Her signing session attracted so many fans that SDCC security moved the line and Hi-Fructose handed out tickets to return to the booth up to four hours afterward.
Above, you can get a sense of the melee with this photo within a photo within a photo. Here we have Dragatomi‘s Ray Suavillo and artist Jeremiah Ketner moonlighting as fellow paparazzi.
Naturally, Kawasaki’s Lili and Her Ghosts signed and numbered giclee prints are now sold out. [Update: Hi-Fructose said they have a few prints and to watch their site for info.] Audrey was cool, especially considering the length of her signing stint, and did a little drawing for each person who picked up a print.
