16 Designers Go Stag for Charity with Graham and Green
So you like customized stags, but you’re sick of the old Gucci and guns routine? UK-based Graham and Green, purveyors of designer home decor, commissioned 16 artists and designers to customize resin stag heads. The mounted trophies span a range of design disciplines including fashion, jewelry and sculpture and comprise mediums such as ceramic, paper and chocolate. Sarah Pager, Choccywoccydoodah, Gavin Luker, Erin Morris, Issa – Daniella Helayel, Katie Hillier, Emma Cook, Manolo Blahnik, David Downton, Nicola Malkin, Lulu Guinness, Lee Broom, Stephen Webster, Barbara Hulanicki, Rob Ryan, Ronnie Wood and Charlotte Olympia did the honors, and the work is currently available to bid on through an online auction. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to Centrepoint, a charity for homeless youth. Very interesting to see what ‘customization’ looks like outside the designer toy sphere.
