David Choe Toys by Wilfrid Wood

This is so cool. I’d been wondering what Wilfrid Wood was doing these days, and I found the answer via David Choe. Wood recently made these mini-mes for Choe and his cousin, Dirty Hands director, Harry Kim.

The sculptures are based on footage from Choe and Kim’s TV series “Thumbs Up.” Choe, who knows a thing or two about doing other people’s portraits, refers to Wood’s figures as “fucking awesome”. I completely agree.
