Wooden Popsicles by Johnny Hermann
If last week’s interview with Brutherford Industries inspired you to collect dessert-oriented popjects, you’re in luck. Italian designer, Johnny Hermann (also known as Mauro Savoldi) has made 150 wooden popsicles.
What’s especially cool about these is that unlike Bad Religion, Hermann did not go Against the Grain. Whether painted or unpainted, the natural grain of the wood is really striking on this non-traditional canvas. The handmade popsicles will be on display later this month at a Milanese concept shop. These seem fairly simple and not overly creative but I really like them. Bravo, good show chap.
