Pop Bottles: Like Serving Liquor to Babies
Anna “Utopia” Giordano is an artist, poet, actress, performer and model living in Naples and Milan, Italy. She created this series of “Pop Bottles” to “raise awareness on topics such as alcohol abuse by teens, alcohol abuse by pregnant women, the disinterest of some parents towards their children (abandoned for days between toys and video games) and how far marketers can go to gain the attention of their younger customers”. Hmmm…do you think she could possibly be talking about this chick? Powerful visuals, really. And what popjects, too!
Unlike those marketers, Giordano’s Hello Kitty Vodka and Fisher Price Gin are strictly part of an art exhibition and NOT for sale. But it might not be long before desperate, jobless parents turn to corporate sponsors and get their kids all tatted up ala Morgan Spurlock in his latest movie…
Click through for cheerier news. Spoiler alert: Giordano loves the 80s.
