Mao, Marx, Lenin and Thoreau from Mountain Research Japan

These 9cm (3.5 inches) polyurethane “global revolutionaries” from Mountain Research Japan include: Chairman Mao, Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and Henry David Thoreau. They come dressed in hiking outfits with rucksacks and hiking boots, and the price is…£145 (~$234 USD).

Although I wouldn’t call them “action figures,” per se, each gentleman is striking a pose, with Mao seeming to be hitchhiking. The Mountain Research men are made in collaboration with GELCHOP [thanks Spoon & Flower] in Japan, but you can import them from London here. It’s kind of fun and random, right?
