I’m a fan of bizarre “studies” involving our feline friends, so long as the cats are willing participants and appear to be having fun. I’m comfortable thinking that these 1951 LIFE photos of “Cat Eating Corn-on-the-Cob” meet both criteria.

When you have two older gentlemen focusing film cameras on a cat eating corn-on-the-cob, I suppose the elephant in the room is WHY? Unlike Cats That Glow Green or Cats Trampolining, there is no obvious scientific link here. Nonetheless, I think this is way cooler than the latest cat/food meme: Cat Breading
