Testament to the power of the object d’art: it can make you desire something in its objectified (idealized, symbolic) form that you wouldn’t actually even want in its original (realistic, practical) state. Case in point: the blow pop. They’re sticky and saccharine and just not for me. However, these gigantic blow pop art multiples designed by Desire Obtain Cherish? Yes please!

My Favorite FabricatorsJTM, Pretty in Plastic, produced the big lollipops for DOC’s showing at SCOPE during the current Art Basel in Miami. (They last worked together on these giant ice cream cones.) Dibs on the green one! (I’ll also snag that Bunny Grenade in the background…)
