Kaiju Melt Monsters by Kevin Herdeman

Written on by jeremy

Kevin Herdeman (aka @honkeylips on Instagram) has been making a monster a day since the kickoff of 2012, and his persistence has paid off. He’s got the formula for “melting kaiju” under control, and I think that’s what I like most about it: it’s chaos, but controlled. It’s like he captured the downward motion of the sludge at a fast shutter speed and froze it clean.

Over 30 one-off Kaiju Melt Monsters (priced very reasonably at $20-$40) are currently available at his Etsy shop here. Get in now. A Grody Shogun collab may be in the works…
