Maybe everybody can’t agree on whether the Occupy protesters are “doing it right”, but I think we all probably can agree that the cops at UC Davis [video, from four perspectives] did it wrong. When things like this happen, you can call for resignations and suspensions, and sometimes you get what you want. But a lot of times, you don’t, and that’s where memes can be helpful. You want to say your piece, you want to illustrate it so absurdly that your point is crystal clear, and you want to make a connection.
