Weapons of Mass Consumption

Weapons of mass consumption: Soft Guerrilla by Kyle Bean

From brass knuckles baked out of bread to dynamite made of hot-dog-on-a-stick, UK-based designer and modeler Kyle Bean is ready to take on the worst Gordon Ramsey can dish! Bean was commissioned by German magazine, CUT, to do a series of photo illustrations for an article about guerrilla gardening and yarn bombing:

As a nod to Guerrilla warfare I created a series of harmless weapons from various materials (some of which are edible). A jelly grenade, a feather blade knife, bread knuckle dusters; I created a total of 6 weapon models as well as my own take on the iconic Che Guevara image for the opener.

These are genius. If I could take it one step further, I’d love to see editorial images featuring people “fighting” with these harmless “weapons”. Click through for more photos by Sam Hofman.
