DIY Christmas Labbit Cookies Inspired by Frank Kozik

Year of the Labbit Cookies 2012

Jessica’s Labbit colony, led by Ted, decided to get festive (and Godlike) and bake holiday cookies (in their own image). Since you can’t exactly get cutters for Labbit cookies at your local Bed, Bath and Beyond, Jessica went DIY.

For any men preoccupied with a perceived loss of machismo from baking cookies, let these pictures full of tools, metal and cardboard allay your fears. As for the clip-art bauble borders, I added those to show spirit.

In any case, the Labbit cookies turned out terrific, and they’re a great example of both edible art and OCD art. If you’d like to make your own Frank Kozik-inspired Labbit cookie cutters (chocolate chip butthole sold separately), follow Jessica’s handy tutorial here. Sweet!
