Stranger Factory Opens in Albuquerque
Tonight, the Circus Posterus crew cut the ceremonial tape on Stranger Factory, a combination retail and gallery space located just off Route 66 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The space opened with an inaugural exhibition, entitled “Vintage Modern Narrative” with original works by Chris Ryniak, Kathie Olivas, Brandt Peters, Glenn Barr, FERG and many more.
The Stranger Factory is the official flagship retail outlet and newest branch for all Circus Posterus goods including original artwork, limited edition prints and books, sculptural editions and apparel as well as other gifts, novelties, designer toys, and curious objects of beauty and wonder.
The shop/gallery is filled with wonderful objects I would love to peruse. I’m curious how it will be received in New Mexico, and also how the artists will find running a business like this over time. Clearly, this is Mecca for Circus Posterus fans. If I’m ever in Albuquerque, I look forward to checking it out.
