Sad Keanu Meme 3D-printed Desktop Toys

The problem with memes is that they’re not tangible. Memes are deployed across the Internet, and for short, powerful surges of time, they have lives of their own. But what if you wanted to hold a meme? One might say that you’d need to somehow get it out of the Matrix…

A Shapeways user called Neuralfirings decided to do just that. NF had a friend create a model of actor Keanu Reeves in his “iconic” sandwich-eating Sad Keanu meme pose. The seated sandstone figures are available as a 2.6-inch Itty Bitty Sad Keanu and a 4-inch A Little Sad Keanu.

I love the idea and the spirit of this, but I haven’t been able to get past the texture of Shapeways’ sandstone 3D-prints. (Other materials are cool though.) If you love memes, and you always wanted a little figure of Keanu Reeves AS Keanu Reeves, this is YOUR moment.
