Remember my little Jeremycat Misfortune Cats? I shipped the toy cats to collectors around the world (but not this flipper), and I made a Google map of their travels. As you can see, we got good Northern Hemisphere coverage!

Out of a litter of 125 cats, approximately half were allocated to Ferg’s Collect and Destroy forum. Since each person had to send me his/her shipping info by email, I requested they also send me a music recommendation. People tipped me off to tunes from all genres.

I mapped the music tips to the locations* and hyperlinked the bands’ URLs. Now you can click around on the map and listen to music recommended by toy collectors around the world! (If your map loads centralized on Africa, use your mouse to scroll Westward.) I’ve been wanting to make an infographic to visualize the community. Here’s an interactive infographic that audio-visualizes the community. Enjoy!
