Prints are an affordable way to deck the walls with art, but along with the drop-off in price from painting to print, you lose “the artist’s hand”. This is not the case with Yosiell Lorenzo‘s small edition of The Mistress. There are eight giclee prints, and I can personally attest that Yosiell got handsy with all of them.
Today’s The Mistress release includes 4 framed and 4 unframed prints. The former have been sealed in a customized ornamental frame that includes a hand-cast resin skull and glare-free plexiglass. The latter have hand-embellished corners and come packaged in aged envelopes with stamped logos. All prints are on 230gsm fine art canvas paper and are signed and numbered. Multiplication need not mean absence of heart, and Yosiell is emerging as a DIY-er who really gets it right.
Get The Mistress ready to hang, in an 8×12″ frame for an unbeatable $55 here. Get The Mistress as an unframed 5×7″ print for just $15 here. And if you’re the type who has to have the O.G., the original Mistress 11×14″ mixed media on panel is on sale for $275 here.
