George and His Amazing Blue Dispensing Machine from Tesselate

George and his Amazing Blue Dispensing Machine by Tesselate

It seems like ages since I’d heard from UK-based Sam aka Tesselate, so I was happy to get news of his latest one-off creation: George and his Amazing Blue Dispensing Machine. The handmade figure is composed of resin, foamex, acrylic and super sculpey. It’s been painted with acrylics, spray paints and Posca pens, and finished off with a few coats of clear acrylic sealer.

Here’s George’s story:

Marching across the lands on his amazing machine comes George aided by the his legion of tiny friends.

The aim of this gargantuan creation is to spread the delicious blue wherever they can. Blue is a wonderful creation which when harvested and formed into perfect spheres, can be used for almost anything you so wish.

George converted a once military walking gun platform for his ongoing mission. He has previously stated that his blue giving mission will never end (apart from Saturday afternoons, when he is performing essential maintenance)

Go George and his tiny circular/non circular friends!

I like the story behind this, and I especially like the idea of repurposing a walking gun platform as a machine for makers and imagineers.

George and his Amazing Blue Dispensing Machine will be available on the Tesselate Shop tomorrow, Friday December 9th at 5.30pm (UK time), which I think is 9:30AM (USA PST). The multi-part original creation stands 7.5 inches tall and costs £60.00 (~ $94 USD). Naturally, I’ve already placed an inquiry about Jeremy and his Amazing Green Dispensing Machine
