Tonight at 9PM PST / 12AM EST, Vannen Artist Watches will release Contaminant, a Breaking Bad tribute watch, designed by Tristan Eaton. Eaton was the perfect choice to render the popular TV show as a timepiece. The LA-based designer (who I just interviewed) has watched “every single episode [of Breaking Bad], including the web exclusives and a bunch of interviews with the actors and creators”.
Eaton writes:
It’s rare that I get to interact directly with Pop Culture I love and when I do it can be a big F’n deal for me. Over the past few years, I’ve developed an unheathly addiction to the AMC series Breaking Bad. I’ve seriously watched every single episode. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to be asked to create a themed watch for the show via Vannen watches. They were open to doing something very subtle, so I designed the watch simply with cryptic imagery only die hard fans would underdstand. It’s a big F’n deal and I hope you all enjoy it.
