As we Americans ascend to stupefying new levels of laziness, I’d like to revisit this time-saving couture concept by Chilean born, New York-based artist and designer, Sebastian Errazuriz. Shoe pants: Because why should shoes and pants be separate? Bit discriminatory isn’t it? It’s been 7 years since Errazuriz designed this hybrid, and I think the world is ready now. The only ‘hiccup’ I see here is the potential pantslessness for Japan, where it’s common to remove your shoes before entering the house…
But you could argue that your shoes are technically pants and therefore do not have to be removed prior to entering a house.
If your shoes are technically part of your pants, you could argue that they aren’t really shoes and, therefore, don’t need to be removed prior to entering a home.
