Hairy Underwear and Bad Face Bags from Finland’s Nutty Tarts
Nutty Tarts (in Finnish: Tärähtäneet ämmät) is a Finnish art duo made up of Mrs. Katriina Haikala and Mrs. Vilma Metteri. They’ve been working together since 2007 with the goal of “doing things like they have never been done before”. In this case, “things” includes design products, performances and art pieces. In some cases, it’s a combination of all three.
For their latest collection, the ladies explore the beauty of body hair through a screenprinted hairy underwear collection. Certainly, it must be a niche market that requires what is essentially a ‘merkin panty,’ but I’m not here to judge.
The hairy panties (in a variety of sizes) are €29.50 EUR while the hairy undershirts and leggings in a (in a variety of sizes) are €39.50 EUR.
