I don’t have a zoom lens, so in order to take this photo, you’re damn right I got all up in Yosiell Lorenzo’s Kool-aid, and I don’t even know what that means. I do know that it made me laugh, an experience not unlike trying on Halloween wigs with Yosi last week. This 11×17 poster rules though. I got one. He’ll have some more at APECON in San Francisco this weekend for just $10 a pop.
Speaking of APE, Yosiell will have a variety of merch for sale at the convention. He’ll have zines and prints, but two things you won’t find at other vendor: his new MAQET, Bjorn the Brute, and Sicklings bookmarks. There will only be four of the Nordic gnome-hunter MAQETs on hand, so act quickly if you want to corral one. There shall be bookmarks aplenty, which is good because I find myself starting multiple books at the same time. The 2-sided placeholders feature a girl Sickling on one side and a boy Sickling on the other. Cool idea. Go say hi to Yosiell at Table 281B. See you at APE!
