Barry McGee Rug & Other Artist Carpets Woven in Tibet
Misha Hollenbach of Perks and Mini and Bunyip fame has curated In the Garden, an exhibit of artist carpets at Utopian Slumps in Melbourne, Australia. I don’t think I’ve seen a Barry McGee rug before! The exhibition feature a series of artist carpets woven in Tibet from designs by Christian Hidaka (Japan, UK-based), Misha Hollenbach, Chris Johanson (USA), Misaki Kawai (Japan), Barry McGee (USA), Keegan McHargue (USA) and Constanze Zikos. More info on the show and the artists is available here. In the Garden opened last week and runs through December 20th.
