I love these new “big puffy soft sculptures” by Travis Lampe! They’re called Trevor and Chauncy, and they’ll be in attendance (along with Lampe) for The Pit of Unease, one of four mini solo shows (alongside Doubleparlour, Joel Nakamura and Jon MacNair) at Stranger Factory, this Friday, September 7th at 6PM in sunny Albuquerque, NM!
Chauncy (in blue) is an owl, while Trevor (in pink) is (IMO) the cycloptic offspring of a killer squid and a killer tomato. Click through for shots of the construction process from Lampe’s Instagram feed.
