Sergey Safonov is embarking on a new journey: destination zakka. His latest two releases are functional art objects that work within his toyetic Moon Wanderers universe, but are also at home within your home.
Dream Boat is a porcelain boat that doubles as a candy dish, candle holder, paperclip ship…or “whatever floats your boat”. Above, Chorus Boy Godot is using it as an opportunity to tag along with the elder Moon Wanderers on an adventure.
Above, Ren 2 (designed by Bubi Au Yeung) commandeers the Dream Boat for an afternoon watching the butterflies (with laptop tucked away of course).
