Julia Chiang is a Brooklyn-based artist previously written up here for her porcelain apples. The apples were intended as symbols of desire, as well as icons of the biggest apple: New York. If that seemed too abstract, her latest art product should be crystal clear to your (red) eyes. These two mini-lighters answer the question “Do you smoke?” without saying a single word. Chiang’s Yeah (joints) and Nah (cigarettes) lighters are on sale in-store at Standard Hotels. You could probably talk someone into taking an order over the phone if you ask really nicely.
