Happy Halloween 2011!

Written on by jeremy

If you can see this post, it means today really is a happy Halloween! Due to a sudden (and somewhat suspicious) spike in traffic, my ISP took Jeremyriad offline on Friday. A blogger without a blog is like a de-fanged vampire or a smorkin’ labbit with menthols: it just can’t work! It’s good to be back.

The Halloween banner above is courtesy of my buddy, Ryan Roberts, whose dedication to photographing toys is nothing short of religious. (And I mean that in a parallel universe where “religious” is not a negative word.)

My wife is going to kill me for “torturing” the cats, but I maintain that she is stoked (the cat, not the wife). Here’s a selection of small Frankenstein toy art from my collection. Left to right, it’s Franken Trexi (2007) by Delme, Frankie Goes to Hyperspace (2009) by The Sucklord, Mad Scientist FrankenMarshall (2011) by 64Colors and Franken Fatcap (2008) by Phetus.

And what good would Halloween be without one of the holiday’s seminal anthems? Who else remembers when Ministry sounded like this? Happy Halloween!
